7-14-11 by Kae // We will finally be opening up in a few days! I've recently had a little time to work on the site, and it shouldn't take much longer to finish, check back often so you don't miss our opening day!
Once we gather a few members, I will add more carnivores to the list of allowed characters, such as hyenas, wild dogs, and cheetahs, just to even out the playing field, but for the most part, I'd like lions to be the dominating species.

weather: Storms and flooding are a perpetual risk to the wildlife now that the wet season is upon the lands of Barasa. The river and lake sides are dangerous places because of all the mud and silt deposits. However, with the rain comes the herds of animals, so finding prey is fairly easy, you just have to catch it!

Amadi, meaning "seemed destined to die at birth" is anything but. It was named when two brothers formed the pride together, but later turned against one another. The pride is fairly small even now, and male cubs are guarded more closely than usual, lest the past repeat itself.
Gatura, meaning "renowned" is composed of some of the fiercest lioness hunters on the plains. They are known for their cunning and tactics far and wide.
